From unforgettable birthday parties and engaging school field trips to bringing the fun directly to you with our mobile events, we make it easy to turn any occasion into a playful, educational adventure. Explore our booking options below.

Field trips at Quincy Children’s Museum are designed to be engaging, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and connection. Visits are $4 per student, with no charge for school staff. Parents and siblings who attend are welcome at our standard admission rates: $2 for children under 1, $5 for ages 1–12, and $4 for ages 13+.

Each field trip lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes a brief welcome and orientation, plenty of time for open-ended exploration throughout the museum, and a short 5–10 minute clean-up and transition period before departure. Please note that the museum remains open to the public during field trips, creating a vibrant shared-play environment for all visitors.

We try to begin all field trips at 9:00 AM whenever possible, though we understand some groups may need flexibility with scheduling and timing

Field Trip Capacity Note:
For the best visitor experience, we recommend field trip groups not exceed 50-60 children at one time. While we can accommodate up to 80 individuals total, larger groups may be encouraged to rotate between the museum and other nearby free or low-cost community activities in downtown Quincy, a full list is available upon request.

Birthday parties at Quincy Children’s Museum are designed to be joyful, play-filled celebrations that create lasting memories for children and families alike. Party rentals are $200 for members and $240 for non-members. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your date.

Birthday parties are typically hosted from 5:00–7:00 PM, though additional times may be available depending on museum programming and availability.

The base party package includes up to 15 children ages 12 and under. Additional children may be added for $7 per child. Please keep in mind that our maximum building capacity is 80 individuals total. Adults are welcome to attend at no additional charge.

Families are welcome to bring their own food, drinks, and decorations. From our experience, simpler setups often allow for more time to relax and enjoy the celebration. Hosts will have access to the museum 15 minutes prior to the start of the party for setup and are asked to complete cleanup within 10 minutes following the reservation.

Each party includes a two-hour private museum rental. Most celebrations begin with approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of open play on the first floor before our staff guides guests upstairs for celebration time and exploration of our second-floor exhibits.

Quincy Children’s Museum values community and believes all children deserve opportunities to learn through play, exploration, and connection. Through our Mobile Museum program, we bring hands-on exhibits and engaging educational experiences beyond our walls and into schools, libraries, festivals, parks, community organizations, and special events throughout the region.

Whether you are planning a school enrichment opportunity, community celebration, library program, or corporate event, the Mobile Museum creates interactive experiences designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and meaningful connection for children and families.
